Busan Seoul Suwon Trip 21st Oct to 30 Oct 2016- DAY 1
Day 1
Set my alarm to wake up at 4am but I think I'm too excited and wake up automatically around 330am.
Got a shock when I saw my watapps message from my friend. She suppose to fly at 21st Oct 2016 AM flight to Seoul but she told me that her Cathay flight has been delay and she is still at airport. End up we took the same SQ flight to Seoul. LOL...
As we are on the 8 AM flight and we got no time for breakfast due to the long queue to collect our wifi router. Sad.. was feeling extremly hungry when we board the flight... try to sleep the hunger away and luckily it's help.
Finally is meal time... I choose sausage and egg ... Not super nice but ok... Only one movie interest me... so only watch Zootopia for the 6 hours plus flight. Remaining time is either sleeping or listen to music on my phone.
Finally reach Incheon around 4 plus in the afternoon... airport was quite crowded and busy...sian...
but customs clearance is consider efficient.
Super hungry and we settle for our first meal in Seoul- Lotteria fast food.
Taste quite good... I have the beef burger... yum yum...
No chilli sauce in Seoul only Tomato sauce.. Luckily I don't eat chilli sauce... so no complains... haha
After that we walk to the KTX train station which is link to Incheon airport.
My friends proceed to collect our KTX pass and purchase our train tickets to Busan.
From what I see there a serious lack of tourist information and we feel quite uncertain about the train boarding procedure etc...
Since it's a Friday, we are unable to purchase the reserved seats tickets and only manage to get tickets to board the train...
If there's empty seats, we can just sit. If not we have to stand all the way to Busan which is around 3 hours.
Since is around 6 pm when we board the train from Incheon to Busan, there isn't any train conductor when we board the train.. we are quite doubtful whether should we seat or stand and there isn't anyone for us to ask. As Incheon is the first station, there is plenty of empty seats... since we are so tired we decided to sit at random seats... haha...
When the train started to move, the train conductor appear... Thank God she is quite helpful... she ask why we didn't got a reserved seats and we mention it's sold out...
She then inform us that cabin 18 is free seating and we should seat there... Praise God... we don't need to stand for 3 hours... When the train reach Seoul station, seems like it's a known secret only Koreans know that cabin 18 is free seating... everyone queuing there is determine to get a seat...You can tell by their eyes. Hahaha...
After 3 hours, we reach Busan around 9PM plus... took the subway for a few stop to reach our hostel. Since my friend stayed in the hostel before, we manage to find it quite easily.
Rest a while and we went to nearby street vendor to have our dinner.
Order some kimbap and fried stuff... yummy... heard the price increase from 500 won to 700 won. Haha...after that we went convenience shop to shop and yeah manage to get my banana milk... yummy... finally get to drink it after 3 years. Also buy some chips and went back to the hostel.
After washing up we call it a day... as the bed is double decker kind, I volunteer to sleep upstairs...
